Dave "The Box" Rushton

 

Dave was not only the founding member of the band but also was its leader and mentor to the rest of the band, who at that time were new to the world of Ceilidh. Along with Alfie Collins they with "patience, charm" and the occassional look of horror and exasperation were midwifes to our birth.
